Can change to the new without too much bother. But would be best to photoshop it to fill in the colours.

Also on the t-shirt and sticker front, i've been doing a bit of searching and came up this.

Jerzee Brand T-shirts €3.00 - €3.20 ea Plus vat depending on numbers

Screen printing should cost approx €3.00 per tee depending on size and how many colours we want on them.

As for the Stickers, i gave the printer a rough idea of design and size that we were looking for and he's getting back to me. Reckoned a ballpark figure would be about €150 for 500 possibly less, apparently there's no need for a plate anymore it's all done on a laser thingy.

Should have a firm price soon.

Hi Guys, I think the new logo is the one we should go for. I agree with Spondon. The other one is a little bit Paddy the Irishman!!!

Just get rid of the hat and colour the beard different, it's still a class picture of a proper hotrod. That characature is way better than the slanty purple one, but I'm not trying to provoke anything so just think of it as an opinion.

the new one is the official one for the ISRA.................the dwarf is the logo for the Irish custom federation.......................it was agreed at the first meeting of the ISRA in the spawell dublin, that the new logo was the official one and that the custom fed would come under the wing of the ISRA..........so thats how it stand's..........maybe more people should have been present at this meeting, and also this years AGM in carlow,........then this would be clear.............steve

true lads it was agreed the new logo is the official club logo but there is nothing wrong with useing both of them. the old logo maybe a bit paddy irishman but im irish and proud of it. i like both of the club logos and yes the new one is more up class but the old one has the irish sence of humour that we are known for. not tryin to stirr it up but there is roome for both if peoplr are interested in havin a bit of dirversity in their t-shirts. all other official club apparel and paperwork will have the new logo as agreed.

For worldwide appeal, the old logo looks quite Irish.

When some one from germany is looking at the site, I believe the old logo shows Instant Irish Hot rod.

Where as the new logo looks like a copy of the good guys US logo with a different color car.

 Keep it Irish.

While a great logo, the new one does look very generic, and not Irish /at all/. If it were a local club I'd say fair enough - I usually hate Oirishness - but it is representing an entire country after all.

(I realise I don't really have a say since I wasn't at the agm, just said I'd express my opinion.)

If it weren't for Oirishness we'd be American or English. We don't exactly have much of a national identity anymore, seen as most of us can't speak our own language, so all your left with is Oirishness.

However, if agreed at the AGM it stays. Bear in mind though that if you're a paid up member of the ISRA you shouldn't be denied a vote just cos you couldn't go. Remember democracy is only a minority making decisions for a majority.

Let the handbags begin!

I agree it's a stereotype and when I first saw the logo it didn't sit right with me, but after coming across so many other "hot rod" clubs and organisations it's nice to have something to differentiate yourself.

In the bigger picture it's all hypothetical, cos the leprechaun is logo for the ICF and the other is for the ISRA. Two different groups, two different logos, so it's all cool
