Top o'the mornin! again!! V8 minor, any news on Hussein, has he moved, where is/was his house? If I don't get an answer to this ,it will be the LAST update of Husseins/Grahams 34!!!(You've been warned!!!)

How do you download pics,I've got some but I dont get the hyperlink thing!! Any easier way!!?

Anyways,Grahams been busy since the last time. His front end that he orderd just after he got the 34 never arrived!!! which turned out fine cos a friend of ours,Wayne Streams, had a 34 ford TCI stainless front end 4 sale!! So Gra' bought it,& wiv a bit of fabrication welded it in!! the chassis been boxed, tacked 4 now, cross members added, so a rollin chassis has appeared. The body has a new steel floor, steerings in wiv a Lecarra banjo. Gauges are from Grahams 37 cabrio'that he sold in 2003. He's ordered a Rootlieb hood top,a Dan Fink release kit,& is gonna get a HER stainless grill insert. The original is ok but it aint worth cleanin up when u can get a new 1 4 $300. The aircleaner is homemade, the ribbed center came from a new rocker cover!! Colour of the rod is still black at this time.Graham tried to restore the gas tank, but gave up after havin trouble with the thin metal,so he's gonna make a larger stainless 1 ,as you do!!! If all the small stuff comes when he orders it,then the 34 could be on the road this year!! If not then definately next!!!

Thats all for now, don't forget,Hussein info or no more updates!!!!

Hi Noel,

Good to hear work is progressing. PatB suggested I'm the one in the know regarding Hussein, but I was only at his house (mansion!) once, other than that probably 4 or 5 phonecalls over about 10 years.

Sooooo when you say It can't be that hard to find a feckin Cypriot-Irish rodder can it!!!

You'd be surprised.....

I spoke with Murf, who was with me the day I took the pics of Husseins car, andwe "pooled" what we learnt on the day.

He was selling the house and emigrating to Austrailia.

The house was in Clane, Co Kildare.

He has a tile shop somewhere in Dublin.

He's a really nice bloke !

I'll send a text message to the mobile he had, and see if he replies.

Other than that can't tell you much, sorry !

Hello again!! 'scuse the delay, but there ain't been much happenin over here!!! Got Graham his grill insert,at last!! Really nice piece but it took an age to get it from Texas to LA! Guy would only take wire-transfer,so had to get Biffo to do it, not as straight forward as it sounds!! Anyway got some wood & foam from ex-pat,Colin & put it in case.Case was opened by customs(lock cut off!!)but no damage to grill!! Graham is hoping to have the Chevy painted this year, but is havin  a delay in no hood yet, & the tank cover needs replacin or alot of work!! He tried EMS in the States, but they don't do panels for the 34-35 standard Chevy!! Here's a link to some of Biffos rods. They're on the NSRA site,so if you ain't seen 'em ,here's the link

 http://www.nsra.org.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12279&SearchTerms=biffos,rods

If you go to my photobucket site, you'll see a 36 that Foose & Biffo put together!!

Here some more pics of Grahams Chevy. He's done a lot of bodywork lately;rear tank cover bein the hardest!! Just started on the front fenders, when they're done & the Rootlieb hood arrives, then its off to the painters!! Mercedes black, which is very, very black!!! As the rear axle is painted the same & it shines, without polishing!!! The next photos should be painted or ready to paint.

Any news on Hussein!!? Graham hasn't heard from him in ages!!
